Midnight Farm
2013 Spring Showcase Horse Show
Saturday May 11th, 2013
The 2012 Spring Showcase was a huge success. We were able to raise enough money to offer scholarships to several people throughout the year who had wanted to ride but had not had the chance and also for camps so that families could afford to send multiple children to summer camp. Three riders were honored for their fundraising efforts, 4 year old Connor Schonlaw and his family raised over $1400 to be our High Point child fundraiser. Raising $2400, Steve Smith and his family earned the High Point adult participant and William Sykes and his amazing CLO team raised over $1100 and were awarded the High Point CLO participant. A special "Thank You" to all of the volunteers who put in extra hours to support our riders and staff. It was a very busy day and we couldn't have done it without them.
Please consider making a contribution to support the 2013 Spring Showcase!
Here are some ways you can help:
|
Sponsor a Rider ($25-100) - Each rider must raise $100 to participate in our benefit show. This donation will allow a rider of your choice or a rider in need a chance to show their stuff! Any extra sponsorships will go directly to our Rider Scholarship Fund to help future riders. Rider sponsors will be announced during the rider’s classes and printed in the show bill. If you would like to make a donation on behalf of a particular rider, please indicate who the donation should be applied to in the form to the right.
**If you would like to give an amount other than listed below, please scroll down to the yellow 'Donate' button ** Sponsor a Class ($50) - Help cover the cost of hosting a show, including the riders' ribbons and treats for our volunteers. Sponsors’ names will be announced at the beginning of the class as well as included in our show bill. You can sponsor more than one class if you'd like!
Rider Scholarship Fund - Make a donation directly to the Rider Scholarship Fund and help a rider who cannot afford the lesson fees be able to participate in our program.

Thank you for your support of the Spring Showcase!
About the Spring Showcase...
We opened our program in August of 2009 with 12 riders. We now have 65 plus riders per session in our program. We are excited about the growth we’ve experienced, but with that growth has come an ever increasing request for scholarship funds. Unfortunately, our scholarship fund is dwindling.. The Spring Showcase will not only be an opportunity for our riders to participate in a horse show, but to help themselves and others who may not be able to enjoy this therapeutic experience without financial assistance. Riding in a true horse show will give them a chance to shine in front of family and friends and raising funds toward a higher goal will really allow our riders take pride in their accomplishments!
Because we hope to never tell a potential rider they can’t participate due to financial limitations and to offer our riders a chance to strut their stuff, Midnight Farm will be holding its 2nd Annual Spring Showcase Horse Show on Saturday, May 11th. This memorable event will be a fundraiser for our Therapeutic Riding Program Scholarship Fund . In order to make this a successful event we need your support! Our riders will be collecting donations which will go towards their riding fees and the Rider Scholarship Fund, but we can always use more help! You can make a contribution directly to the Rider Scholarship Fund or offer financial assistance to help defray the actual cost of putting on the show so that all the proceeds from the show will benefit our riders! Thank you for helping make a difference in the lives of individuals with special needs!
