About the Spring Showcase...

We opened our program in August of 2009 with 12 riders. In our upcoming Summer Session we will have about 75 riders participating in our program. We are excited about the growth we’ve experienced, but with that growth has come an ever increasing request for scholarship funds.  Unfortunately, our scholarship fund is dwindling quickly and without a successful fundraiser and support from people like you, we will have to start turning potential riders away because they cannot afford to pay.  The Spring Showcase will also be an opportunity for our riders to participate in a show, something they rarely have a chance to do. Riding in a true horse show will give them a chance to shine in front of family and friends and to really take pride in their accomplishments!

Because we hope to never tell a potential rider they can’t participate due to financial limitations and to offer our riders a chance to strut their stuff, Midnight Farm will be holding its 1st Annual Spring Showcase Horse Show on Saturday, May 12th.  This memorable event will be a fundraiser for our Therapeutic Riding Program Scholarship Fund .  In order to make this a successful event we need your support! Our riders will be collecting donations which will go towards their riding fees and the Rider Scholarship Fund, but we can always use more help! You can make a contribution directly to the Rider Scholarship Fund or offer financial assistance to help defray the actual cost of putting on the show so that all the proceeds from the show will benefit our riders! Thank you for helping make a difference in the lives of individuals with special needs!

Here are some ways you can help:

Sponsor a Class ($25) - Help cover the cost of ribbons in each show class. Sponsors’ names will be announced at the beginning of the class as well as posted at the barn during the show. You can sponsor more than one class if you'd like! 

Sponsor a Rider ($100) - This will help a rider who is unable to collect donations and will allow them to participate in the show without collecting the required donations.  Any extra sponsorships will go directly to our Rider Scholarship Fund to help future riders! Rider sponsors will be announced during the rider’s classes. 

General Show Sponsorship (any amount) - This will help defray miscellaneous costs associated with putting on the show. Any amount is greatly appreciated!

Specified Rider Donations -  If you would like to make a donation on behalf of a particular rider, please indicate who the donation should be applied to when you check out.

Rider Scholarship Fund - Make a donation directly to the Rider Scholarship Fund and help a rider who cannot afford the lessons fees be able to participate in our program.

Show Details

The show will begin at 9:00am and we hope to finish up by 5:00pm. We have 35 riders participating in the Spring Showcase so it will be a busy day! A schedule of the classes is posted below so you will know when your favorite rider will be showing. Admission is free and we encourage everyone to come out and support these amazing individuals who have worked so hard this year. 
A few things to keep in mind:

• The Midnight Farm Drill Team will be performing during the show so check the schedule so you won't miss it!
• We hope to do the show in the outdoor arena, weather permitting, so bring a lawn chair, sunscreen and bug spray.
• A concession stand will be available with food and drinks. Proceeds from the concession stand will go to the Rider Scholarship Fund.
• Bring your camera! We will have a photographer taking pictures as well, but you won't want to miss that "Kodak Moment".
• No dogs will be allowed, this is for the safety of our riders.
